Banco da Amazônia provides credit at agricultural fairs in Brazil

Banco da Amazônia provided credit services and financial information to various business profiles during two major agricultural fairs in Northern and Northeastern Brazil. The activities took place at the 66th Maranhão Agricultural Exhibition (Expoema) in São Luís and the 38th Marabá Agricultural Exhibition (Expoama) in Marabá.

Credit operations ranged from approximately R$ 20,000 for micro-entrepreneurs to R$ 274,000 for commercial vehicle purchases. The services targeted rural producers, family farmers, autonomous workers, and small businesses. At Expoema, focus areas included agribusiness lines, retail, and oriented productive microcredit.

Bank officials noted that participating in these events allows the institution to better understand the specific needs and demands of the sector by being closer to the producers' reality.
