Banco de Brasília customers report unauthorized credit card transactions

Customers of Banco de Brasília (BRB) have reported receiving alerts regarding unauthorized credit card purchase attempts. Some users noted high-value transactions, including one instance involving an attempt of R$ 28,000.

In the reported case, a communication from ‘BRBCARD – Prevenção’ notified the client of the unauthorized attempt and stated the card had been preventively blocked for security. The message prompted the user to confirm whether they recognized the transaction. While multiple customers have reported similar alerts, there has been no official confirmation of widespread card cloning or a data breach involving the institution.
