Banco Macro partners with Brangus to boost financing for Argentine cattle producers
Banco Macro signed a cooperation agreement with the Asociación Argentina de Brangus, formalised by Banco Macro president Jorge Brito and Brangus president Mauricio Groppo. The partnership will offer specialised credit lines to cattle producers for buying reproductive stock, retaining pregnant cows and acquiring technology, aiming to improve productivity and competitiveness across farms of all sizes.
The agreement also includes Banco Macro’s active participation in key sector events such as the National Brangus Exhibition and the Palermo Rural Expo, reinforcing the bank’s presence in regional economies and expanding its high‑value client base. Brangus expects the financing to reach more than 500 active members and a community of over 20,000 users, while Banco Macro leverages its extensive branch network and dedicated agribusiness team to support the sector.
