Argentina criminal courts issue multiple sentences for fraud and homicide

In Salta, Argentina, the Federal Oral Court sentenced two former Banco Nación employees, Silvia Verónica Castro and Fernando Horacio Arias Knudsen, for stealing money from customers during deposits at the Orán branch. The duo used advertising brochures and frosted glass to hide their hands while siphoning cash from bundles. Castro received a suspended two-year prison sentence, while Arias Knudsen received six months, both suspended. Both are disqualified from holding public office for periods exceeding their sentences.
