Banco Provincia shifts to digital ATM receipts in Argentina

Banco Provincia announced that its network of automated teller machines will stop printing paper receipts for most transactions. Starting immediately, customers will receive digital confirmations sent to the e‑Provincia email address on file, covering cash withdrawals, balance checks, transfers, term‑deposit setups, loan requests, tax and service payments, as well as phone and transport top‑ups.

Clients without a registered email will be prompted on the screen to enter one; until they do, the machine will continue to issue a paper ticket. Operations not yet integrated into the digital system will also retain printed receipts temporarily.

The change is part of the public bank’s policy to cut paper consumption and promote sustainable practices within the Buenos Aires provincial banking system.
