Banda Aceh targets Rp1.56 trillion in 2026 regional revenue

The Banda Aceh City Government has submitted a draft for the 2026 Regional Budget Revision (APBK) to the Banda Aceh Regional House of Representatives (DPRK). The revised regional revenue target is set at Rp1.568 trillion, representing a 19.57 percent increase (Rp256.79 billion) compared to the initial 2026 target of Rp1.311 trillion.

This revenue increase is primarily driven by adjustments in regional transfer income, including additional Transfers to Regions (TKD). The city is also adjusting Local Original Revenue (PAD) through services from the Meuraxa Regional General Hospital (RSUD Meuraxa) and market-based BLUD services, as well as adjustments to waste, sanitation, and land/building utilization levies.

Planned regional expenditure is set at approximately Rp1.578 trillion. Mayor Illiza Sa’aduddin Djamal stated that the revision is necessary to respond to changes in revenue assumptions, priority spending needs, and the utilization of the previous year's Budget Execution Result Surplus (SiLPA) following audits by the Indonesian Audit Board (BPK RI).
