Bandai Namco announces Code Vein II expansion Mask of Idris

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that the first major expansion for Code Vein II, titled ‘Mask of Idris’, is scheduled for release on September 9, 2026. The expansion will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is available for separate purchase and is included in the Deluxe and Ultimate digital editions of the game.

Mask of Idris is designed as post-game content. To access the new story, players must have achieved the ‘Luna Fraterna’ ending in the main campaign and completed the side mission ‘Valentin’s Request’. The expansion introduces a new region called the ‘Forsaken World’, a dimension created by temporal alterations, and features a new character, Liv Voda, a guardian of time and space.

Alongside the expansion, a free 2.0 update will be released on the same day, providing improvements and new content for exploring the world after the main story. The expansion will also include new weapons, abilities, enemies, and partners.
