Bandai Namco announces Gundam Blitz Order mobile game

Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced Gundam Blitz Order, a new mobile game for iOS and Android devices. Developed to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Gundam franchise, the title will feature a global release.

The game introduces a new subgenre to the franchise as an idle strategy RPG. Players will collect, develop, and upgrade various Mobile Suits, warships, and Mobile Armors from across the Gundam universes. Gameplay involves forming squads within specific cost limits and setting formations, with combat sequences executing automatically. The experience is designed to be fluid, featuring mechanics where upgrade materials are collected automatically to facilitate progression.

In addition to standard battles, the game is expected to include various modes such as PvP and warship escorts. Bandai Namco has confirmed a closed network test scheduled to take place from November 18 to November 24, 2026. Registration for the test is currently open, with an English-language version of the test being offered alongside East Asian regional versions.
