Bandai Namco schedules July 30 release for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO DLC

Bandai Namco announced that the "Super Limit‑Breaking NEO" expansion for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will launch on July 30, 2026. The DLC will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and PC.

The update adds 33 new playable characters, including Super Saiyan Bardock, Rey Vegeta, Pikkon, Super 17, Champa, Jaco, Android 8, General Blue, Uub and Nuova Shenron, among others. It also introduces a new solo mode called "Limit Breaker Journey," four new arenas, four new episode battles from the Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT series, and new cosmetic items. A free gameplay update will bring mechanics such as Sparking Boost, which lets players expend skill‑stock for stronger attacks, and Chain Blast, an added damage‑boosting technique.

Bandai Namco said the expansion is the largest content update for the game to date, aiming to keep momentum as the title already exceeds 200 playable characters through previous DLCs.
