Bandai Namco confirmed that the Super Limit‑Breaking NEO expansion for *Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO* launched on 30 July 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions promised later. The DLC adds 33 new fighters from the Dragon Ball, Z, GT and Super eras—bringing the total roster to over 200 characters—including Super Saiyan Bardock, Rey Vegeta, Pikkon, Super 17, Champa, Jaco, Android 8, General Blue, Uub, Nuova Shenron, Tao Pai Pai, Vovô Gohan and adult Goku. Four new arenas, four episode‑battle scenarios and a brand‑new solo campaign called “Limit Breaker Journey” (a Limit‑Break‑style mode) let players earn Battle Arts, upgrade stats and customize characters with more than twenty new items.

A free update introduced Sparking Boost and Chain Blast combat mechanics, and a visual overhaul of Gogeta’s Super Saiyan 4 model was released in response to community feedback, with further refinements hinted. Post‑launch data show over 54 million unique endings, 120 million online battles, 5.4 million Super Shenron summons and 99.86 % of rank‑Z players having tried Super Training. The update also fixed lingering animation issues, added new single‑player story episodes, and featured series vocalist Hironobu Kageyama. A Switch/ Switch 2 version is slated for 2027.
