Bandai Spirits announces new Gundam Base locations in Shibuya and Nagano

Bandai Spirits is expanding its official Gundam merchandise retail presence in Japan with two new upcoming events in late 2026.

THE GUNDAM BASE SHIBUYA is scheduled to open on November 20, 2026, at Shibuya PARCO in Tokyo. The store will feature a unique design incorporating Shibuya culture, including large LED visual displays, 3D animations, and graphic art inspired by Gunpla packaging. The facility will also showcase life-sized busts of the RX-78-2 Gundam, Strike Freedom Gundam, and Unicorn Gundam.

Additionally, a temporary event titled ‘THE GUNDAM BASE POP-UP in NAGANO’ will be held at the Nagano Tokyu Department Store from November 27 to December 20, 2026. This pop-up will feature a variety of Gundam-related goods, a two-meter tall Gundam statue, and early displays of new products from the upcoming 2027 animation ‘Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO’ and the game ‘GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT’.
