Bangkok police raid warehouse to seize 10,000 counterfeit branded items

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) conducted a raid on a secret warehouse in the Bang Khun Thian district of Bangkok, uncovering a large-scale operation involving counterfeit goods. Authorities seized 10,053 items, including counterfeit branded tote bags and eyewear.

The investigation began after a prominent Thai bag manufacturer reported that counterfeit versions of their products were being sold on major online platforms at significantly lower prices. The counterfeit items were noted for using substandard materials that lacked durability.

Police tracked the sales through undercover purchases and identified a connection to a Chinese investor who allegedly benefited from the illicit sales. The warehouse in Soi Bang Kradi was used as a central hub for storing and distributing the counterfeit merchandise.
