Bangkok to host inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia in 2026

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and Voxovation have announced the participating nations for the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia, scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Thailand. Eleven countries will compete in the debut event, which is set to hold its Grand Final on Saturday, November 14, 2026.

The participating nations and their respective broadcasters include Bangladesh (NTV), Bhutan (BBS), Cambodia (TV5 Cambodia), Laos (VTE9), Malaysia (TV3), Mongolia (MNC), Nepal (Himalaya TV), Philippines (ABS-CBN), South Korea (ENA), Thailand (Channel 3), and Vietnam (VTV).

As of now, four countries have confirmed their representatives: Bhutan (Nyendra with ‘Lhayi Semo’), Malaysia (Aina Abdul), the Philippines (CARMELLE with ‘Sobra-Sobra’), and South Korea (JUNHEE with ‘DEEP DIVE’). Other nations, including Nepal, Laos, and Thailand, are scheduled to hold national selections throughout September to determine their entries.
