Bank Rakyat Indonesia rolls out Bali expo promos and bolsters health insurance governance

Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) participated in the Bali Wellness and Beauty Expo 2026, offering a range of promotional programmes such as cashback on new BritAma accounts, a FC Barcelona‑branded debit card, a Lucky Wheel with prizes like Garmin smartwatches and JBL speakers, and fast‑track credit‑card approvals. The bank highlighted its digital channels—including BRImo, BRIZZI and QRIS—to encourage cashless transactions throughout the three‑day event.

Separately, BRI Life, the insurance subsidiary of BRI, warned that rising medical costs and inflation are pressuring Indonesia’s health‑insurance sector. The company cited the new OJK regulation POJK 36/2025 as a catalyst for stronger governance, greater transparency and more sustainable business models. BRI Life also emphasized digital transformation and public health‑literacy, noting its recent Best Digital Health Insurance Experience award at the Health Insurance Ecosystem Forum 2026.
