Bank Rakyat reports RM1.9 billion profit and 18% dividend

Bank Rakyat has reported a pre-tax and zakat profit of RM1.9 billion for the financial year ending 2025. The cooperative bank's total assets have reached RM131 billion.

Following this performance, the institution announced an 18 per cent dividend, marking its highest rate in 10 years. This will result in a total payout of RM534.7 million to more than 783,000 members. Group CEO Ahmad Shahril Mohd Shariff stated that the financial results are intended to serve as a catalyst for strengthening members and supporting customers through inclusive economic opportunities.
