Bank Syariah Indonesia expands Sharia mortgage access and agent network in Indonesia

Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) teamed up with BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to provide a Sharia‑compliant mortgage product with fixed installments and flexible tenors of up to 30 years for millions of workers. The BSI Griya portfolio reached Rp 60.80 trillion by May 2026, contributing to a net profit of Rp 3.39 trillion.

By the same date, BSI's agent network grew to more than 130,000 locations nationwide, extending banking services such as cash withdrawals, bill payments and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan registration to remote areas. The agents generate monthly income of roughly Rp 6‑8 million, supporting local economic activity while boosting financial inclusion across Indonesia.
