Bannu Police eliminate five militants in anti‑terror operation

The Bannu Police Peace Committee launched an anti‑terrorism drive called "Intiqam‑e‑Shuhada" (Revenge for Martyrs) after a suicide attack on the Fateh Khel police post. Under the direction of Regional Police Officer Sajjad Khan, specialized police units carried out intelligence‑based operations across the district. In the latest action, police killed five militants, including a highly wanted commander linked to the Zargul group and a participant in the Fateh Khel attack. The slain militants were identified as Hiyatullah, Asad Yar, Nimatullah, Commander Mansoor, and one unidentified fighter.
