On July 18, the town of Bansko in Bulgaria marked the 123rd anniversary of the Ilinden‑Preobrazhenie uprising, a pivotal event in Bulgarian history. Dozens of residents and visitors gathered at the B’nderitsa campsite for a large‑scale historical reenactment featuring authentic costumes, weapons and staged battles that recreated the spirit of the 1903 revolutionaries.
