Bar municipality announces parking upgrades and solar plant approval

The Municipality of Bar is advancing several infrastructure and energy projects. The local government has extended the deadline for public procurement bids regarding parking accessibility. The project, valued at 180,000 euros excluding VAT, aims to adapt parking spaces and sidewalks in the city center to improve accessibility for users, including persons with disabilities. The works involve approximately 215 access ramps and the replacement of surfaces for about 62 parking spaces.

In a separate development, the Secretariat for Communal Affairs and Traffic in Bar has issued an environmental impact assessment approval to DD Solar Gradnja for the construction of the Gluhi Do solar power plant. The facility, with a capacity of 3.4 MW, will be situated on approximately 73,426 square meters in the Paštrovačka Gora area. The project involves the installation of 6,110 solar panels across 235 structures and will connect to the existing 35 kV power line running from Virpazar to Podgorica.
