Bar municipality solar power plant development

Overview

The Municipality of Bar is moving forward with the Gluhi Do solar power plant project in the Crmnica area. The facility, led by the Podgorica-based company DD Solar gradnja, is planned to have a capacity of 3.4 megawatts using 6,110 solar panels across 235 structures.

Following an initial environmental impact study that was returned for revisions, a commission determined that the updated documentation complied with all regulations. The project will occupy approximately 73,426 square meters across eight cadastral plots and will connect to the Virpazar – Buljarica – Podgor power line. Officials noted that no objections or comments were submitted by citizens or interested organizations during the public inspection period.
