Barbour to host Saatchi Gallery exhibition during London Fashion Week

Barbour has announced a takeover of the Saatchi Gallery for an exhibition titled ‘Tartan Reimagined: The Barbour Way’. The event is scheduled to run from 17 September to 19 September as part of the official London Fashion Week calendar.

The exhibition will explore the brand’s 130-year history and Scottish heritage, tracing its origins from South West Scotland to its first store in South Shields. Visitors will experience immersive galleries showcasing the brand’s evolution, including the AW26 collection and winning designs from the Barbour x British Fashion Council Tartan Reimagined competition.

Sustainability and craftsmanship will be central themes. The showcase will feature ‘Barbour Re-loved’ creations—an upcycling initiative—and collaborations with brands such as Gucci, Erdem, Paul Smith, and Glastonbury x Oxfam. Additionally, the exhibition will include a live installation demonstrating the brand’s traditional re-waxing process.
