Dusan Vlahovic eyes Barcelona move as Beşiktaş ramps up offer
Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic became a free agent after his contract with Juventus expired on 30 June. He has repeatedly stated that joining FC Barcelona is his top priority and is reportedly willing to accept a lower salary to make the move.
Turkish club Beşiktaş JK has submitted a lucrative two‑year proposal, including a €5 million signing fee and a €10 million annual wage, and is preparing to increase the offer to secure the 26‑year‑old. The club’s management says the deal could be finalised before the season starts.
Other suitors mentioned include Manchester United, which has been linked to the striker, and Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti, who still hopes for a return. Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali noted he has never met Vlahovic and that the club declined a previous bid. Barcelona’s focus remains on Julian Álvarez, but Vlahovic remains a major target in the summer market.
Across reports from Turkey, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and France, the consensus is that Vlahovic’s decision is expected within the first week of August, with his response to Beşiktaş’s revised bid likely determining the next step.
