Barcelona and Gandia unveil official posters for 2026 festivals

Barcelona’s city council released the Mercè 2026 poster, created by painter‑muralist Cinta Vidal. Free copies can be collected at three sites – the Museu d’Història de Barcelona, the Palau de la Virreina and the Biblioteca Francesc Candel – where the design also appears as an interior mural. The collage features recognizable Barcelona landmarks such as the Cathedral, the Sagrada Família, the Greek Theatre and Park Güell.

In Gandia, Culture councillor Balbina Sendra presented the Fira i Festes de Gandia 2026 poster, illustrated by local artist Isabel Lluch Durà. The image centers on a child receiving the traditional “Tio de la Porra” hat, highlighting the festival’s community spirit and the town’s creative talent.
