Barcelona secures Adeyemi deal, eyes Rodri as Alvarez move stalls

Barcelona have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for German striker Karim Adeyemi. Adeyemi has accepted contract terms and the club is awaiting Dortmund's approval, with the fee reported around €30‑40 million.

The Catalan side is also in advanced talks with Manchester City midfielder Rodri, who has turned down a contract extension and is reportedly in contact with manager Hansi Flick and director Deco. A contract proposal has been sent and an agreement is expected soon.

Barcelona have accepted that signing Atletico Madrid forward Julian Álvarez is unlikely after the club's high price and €500 million release clause. They are now exploring other striker options such as Dusan Vlahović, Victor Osimhen and internal alternatives, while managing financial constraints from recent years of trouble.
