Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado linked with Saudi move as club seeks €25 million fee
Marc Casado, the 21‑year‑old La Masia graduate who has earned a regular place in FC Barcelona’s midfield under Hansi Flick, is being prepared for a summer exit. While his defensive contributions have placed him among the top performers in Europe’s major leagues, he has fallen behind Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Marc Bernal, Gavi and Eric Garcia in the pecking order.
Barcelona are reportedly willing to accept around €25 million for the midfielder. Agent Jorge Mendes is discussing a possible transfer to Saudi Arabia, with Al Hilal mentioned as a potential destination in the context of the João Cancelo deal. Casado has indicated a preference for Al Nassr, where former Barcelona teammate Íñigo Martínez currently plays, citing the familiar environment as a factor. The club aims to finalise any deal before the June 30 financial‑year deadline.
