Barcelona New Economy Week to host 12,000 attendees in October

The seventh edition of Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW) is scheduled to take place from October 5 to 7 at the DFactory Barcelona. Organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona (CZFB), the forum expects to host approximately 12,000 attendees and more than 270 speakers.

This year's program expands to include eight thematic verticals. New sectors being introduced are artificial intelligence (AI), gaming, agrofood, energy, and science. These join the existing focus areas of health, human resources (talent), and aviation and space. A full day will be dedicated specifically to the transversal impact of artificial intelligence.

The event will feature over 50 experiential activities, including demonstrations with robots and simulators, allowing participants to interact directly with emerging technologies. Additionally, more than 100 startups will showcase their latest innovations through various pitches and exhibitions.
