Barcelona's Sónar Festival 2026 draws 150,000 attendees

The Sónar electronic‑music festival returned to Barcelona from 18‑20 June 2026, attracting more than 150,000 visitors across over 200 activities. The three‑day event featured an expanded night program, the renewed Sónar +D conference, a sold‑out Sónar Kids edition and the new Sónar District offering city‑wide installations.

Following extensive renovations at the Fira de Barcelona, the festival’s daytime format was reduced, while the night stages were enlarged and re‑programmed with major acts such as UK rapper Skepta, German duo Modeselektor and American singer Kelis, complemented by a mix of contemporary electronic, hip‑hop and techno performances.
