Bareilly authorities seize 2.60 crore rupees worth of heroin

Authorities in Uttar Pradesh have intercepted a significant drug smuggling attempt. The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) arrested Jabbar Khan in the Bareilly district while he was preparing to transport heroin to Dehradun.

Police reported that the seized heroin is valued at approximately 2.60 crore rupees. During interrogation, the suspect claimed to work with his brother to purchase heroin at low prices and distribute it to various contacts in Uttarakhand. Investigations are ongoing to identify his supply sources and broader network in Dehradun.
