Barisan Nasional candidates campaign in Negeri Sembilan ahead of state election
Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Siow Kong Choon, contesting the Chennah state seat in Negeri Sembilan, urged voters to elect a locally‑present ADUN who is easily reachable and can focus on community welfare. He highlighted the need for a dedicated representative alongside MP Datuk Jalaluddin Alias and called on the electorate, particularly the Orang Asli, to turn out on voting day.
In the neighbouring Gemencheh constituency, BN candidate Suhaimizan Bizar reported enthusiastic support from Malay, Chinese, Indian and young voters after six days of campaigning. He praised the cooperation between BN and the Perikatan Nasional coalition, noting visits by senior leaders such as Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Ahmad Maslan. The election for the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly is scheduled for 1 August, with early voting on 28 July.
