Barna Héder's media company faces forced liquidation over massive debts

Barna Héder, a former sports broadcaster, is facing significant legal and financial turmoil as his company, Sportos Aramis Média Zrt., undergoes forced liquidation. The company owes more than 50 million forints to 47 crew members who worked on Olympic fencing broadcasts between 2021 and 2024. Additionally, Héder reportedly owes over 20 million forints related to the use of human resources.

Attempts to recover the funds have been unsuccessful, as the company's accounts lack coverage and assets have reportedly been transferred to others, including a Russian citizen, to avoid enforcement. Héder has also listed several properties in Balatonfüred for sale, though proceeds have not been used to settle the debts. Héder has become unreachable via phone and messaging, and while he previously claimed that negative press caused his insolvency, no progress has been made on the outstanding payments.
