Baronissi launches road safety education program for students

The municipality of Baronissi has approved a road safety education project aimed at middle school students at the Istituto Comprensivo Autonomia 82. The initiative, presented by the Municipal Police Command, seeks to promote a culture of legality and increase awareness regarding traffic rules and safe behavior.

The program will feature specialized courses on the Highway Code and fundamental principles of road safety. These sessions will be conducted by trained Municipal Police personnel in collaboration with teaching staff. The curriculum is designed to educate students on correct conduct as pedestrians, cyclists, and future drivers.

Mayor Anna Petta stated that educating youth on road safety is an investment in the community's future, aiming to foster responsible citizens who respect rules and show consideration for others.
