Barretos Airport expects 1,180 passengers for Festa do Peão

Barretos Airport in São Paulo is projecting approximately 1,180 passengers and 350 flight operations between August 20 and August 30 for the 71st Festa do Peão de Barretos.

Managed by the concessionaire ASP – Aeroportos Paulistas, the terminal has undergone a modernization process involving R$ 15 million in investments. The project expanded the passenger terminal area by nearly 50% and introduced new infrastructure, including a new passenger inspection channel equipped with X-ray machines and metal detectors. Other upgrades include renovated restrooms, a modernized climate control system, and a new medical room.

The expected passenger movement includes regular commercial flights operated by Azul Conecta, a regional subsidiary of Azul Linhas Aéreas, as well as general aviation operations.
