Bartoccini +energia Perugia partners with Scarpetta Rossa APS to fight violence against women

The Bartoccini +energia Perugia volleyball team, known as the Black Angels, has announced a partnership with the association Scarpetta Rossa APS to combat gender-based violence. Starting with the 2026-2027 season, Scarpetta Rossa APS will serve as the team’s official charity partner.

As part of this collaboration, the Scarpetta Rossa logo will be featured on the team’s official game uniforms. The initiative aims to use sports as a platform for education, inclusion, and female empowerment. Alice Merli, marketing manager for Bartoccini +energia Perugia, stated that the partnership builds on previous local initiatives and seeks to ensure that the fight against violence against women is a daily commitment rather than a focus limited to specific awareness dates.

The project is part of a broader effort titled ‘In campo con le Black Angels – Oltre la rete’ (On the field with the Black Angels – Beyond the net).
