Bartoccini +energia Perugia volleyball season preparations

Overview

The Bartoccini +energia Perugia volleyball team, known as the ‘Black Angels’, has transitioned from physical conditioning into the final stages of pre-season preparation for the Serie A2 Fineco season. Following a significant 3-1 training victory against the A1 side Omag San Giovanni, the club has focused on organizational and community engagement.

To coincide with the new season, the club launched the ‘LEALI. A PERUGIA.’ subscription campaign. Starting September 5 at Quasar Village, the initiative seeks to strengthen the connection between the team, the city of Perugia, and its supporters. President Antonio Bartoccini has emphasized the necessity of fan support for the upcoming long and challenging season.

Regarding team leadership, the club announced a new captaincy structure. Alessia Fiesoli has been named captain, succeeding Imma Sirressi, who held the role for three years. Cecilia Nicolini has been appointed as vice-captain to support Fiesoli. This decision by the club and coach Stefano Micoli is intended to foster a strong locker room environment.

The team’s season debut against Busto Arsizio has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 3. In the interim, the squad will participate in a joint training session against Macerata at the PalaBarton.
