Italian volleyball clubs prepare for upcoming season debuts

The upcoming volleyball season in Italy is marked by preparations from several clubs. Bartoccini +energia Perugia, known as the Black Angels, held a season presentation gala at Tenuta Montenero in Deruta. The event, attended by over 200 people including sponsors, featured club president Antonio Bartoccini and captain Alessia Fiesoli. The team is preparing for their Serie A2 Fineco debut against Busto Arsizio on October 3.

Laica Cioccolato UYBA Busto Arsizio is also preparing for its Serie A1 campaign, starting with a match against Igor Gorgonzola Novara on October 4 at the Biella Forum. The club is finalizing its roster with the arrival of three Japanese players—Nanami Seki, Miku Otomo, and Yukiko Wada—and will host an official presentation in Busto Arsizio on October 1. To promote local engagement, the Municipality of Biella is offering free admission to local sports clubs and schools for the debut match.

In regional football, Fossombrone secured a draw against Vigor Senigallia, highlighted by a strong debut performance from goalkeeper Antonini.
