Basilicata consumer association supports agricultural strike

The consumer association A. Ba. Co. Basilicata has announced its support for agricultural workers in the Basilicata region. The association will join a general strike proclaimed by the Unione Sindacale di Base scheduled for October 30.

This mobilization aims to address a severe economic and social crisis within the primary sector, citing issues such as declining purchasing power, rising costs of living, job insecurity, and workplace safety. A. Ba. Co. Basilicata is working alongside the nascent Comitato Agricolo Sovraregionale to advocate for both producers and consumers to safeguard the economic and environmental conditions of the sector.
