Basilicata launches €1.5 million grant for 27 volunteer projects

The Basilicata regional authority has published a public notice offering a total of €1,585,184 to finance 27 projects promoted by volunteer organisations, social‑promotion associations and foundations registered with the RUNTS.

The funding is divided into three lines of action aligned with UN Agenda 2030 goals: Line A (over €453 k) targets poverty eradication, Line B (more than €537 k) supports health, disability inclusion and cancer‑prevention initiatives, and Line C (about €594 k) funds gender‑equality and women's empowerment measures.

Regional Health and Social Policies assessor Cosimo Latronico stated, “This important allocation guarantees a homogeneous response to the needs of our territories and represents an investment aimed at the well‑being of our communities and social cohesion.” Applications open on 17 July 2024 and must be submitted electronically via the Central Bandi platform by 12:00 CET on 9 September 2026.
