Basketball Champions League Americas confirms group stages

The group stages for the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCLA) have been confirmed. The tournament will feature 12 clubs divided into four groups of three.

Guaiqueríes de Margarita (Venezuela) will compete in Group A alongside Astros de Jalisco (Mexico) and Real Estelí (Nicaragua). Group B consists of Peñarol (Uruguay), Ferro (Argentina), and Minas (Brazil). Group C includes Gimnasia (Argentina), Pinheiros (Brazil), and Biguá (Uruguay), while Group D features Sesi Franca (Brazil), Quimsa (Argentina), and Aguada (Uruguay).

The group phase is scheduled to take place across three windows between December 2026 and February 2027. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals in March 2027, followed by a Final Four in April 2027 to determine the continental champion.
