Lampung and Batam officials manage regional budget developments

In Lampung, the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) held an entry meeting with provincial government officials to disclose preliminary findings regarding the implementation of the 2026 regional budget (APBD). The meeting, led by Regional Secretary Marindo Kurniawan, included various department heads to review the audit results.

In Batam, Mayor Amsakar Achmad submitted the 2027 regional budget draft to the Batam Regional House of Representatives (DPRD). The proposed budget is valued at Rp4.8 trillion and focuses on five priority areas, including poverty alleviation, social protection, and infrastructure development. Key initiatives include 0 percent interest loan subsidies for micro-businesses, social assistance for the elderly, and social security (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan) coverage for vulnerable workers such as fishermen, farmers, and online drivers. The budget aims to align with regional development plans and central government policies.
