Batman officials and business leaders focus on social welfare and regional development

In Batman, local authorities and business leaders are focusing on social welfare and regional development. Mehmet Zeki Eryarsoy, the Batman Provincial Director of Family and Social Services, met with representatives from non-governmental organizations to discuss projects for disabled individuals and disadvantaged children. The discussions centered on improving accessibility, social participation, and collaborative efforts to reintegrate at-risk youth into society.

Simultaneously, Abdulkadir Demir, President of the Batman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BATSO), addressed the business community regarding the organization's future direction. Demir highlighted the completion of a new service building for BATSO and the implementation of digital transformation through electronic archiving systems. He also noted ongoing efforts to establish a local customs building and warehouse to support regional trade, alongside social responsibility initiatives such as combating substance abuse and supporting healthcare infrastructure.
