Battlefield 6 and Stranded Deep offer free limited-time access

Several major video game titles are available for free or via limited-time trials across various platforms. Battlefield 6 is offering a free trial on Steam and PlayStation 5 through October 19, providing access to both the single-player campaign and multiplayer modes. This promotion coincides with the launch of Season 5, which introduces new maps like ‘Vegas Strip’ and ‘Area 51’, as well as new weaponry.

Additionally, the survival game Stranded Deep is available for free on Steam until October 19. Players can experience the full game, which involves surviving in the Pacific Ocean following a plane crash. Both Battlefield 6 and Stranded Deep are also being offered at a 60% discount for those who wish to purchase them after the trial periods end.

On consoles, NBA 2K27 is available for testing on Xbox, though participation requires a Game Pass subscription. Players can use the MyPLAYER feature to experience the gameplay before committing to a purchase.
