Battlefield 6 Season 4 adds naval combat and Top Gun crossover

Season 4 of Battlefield 6 launches on 21 July 2026 and will be delivered in three phases. Phase 1 introduces the Pacific Front, featuring Tsuru Reef – the series' largest map – and a new dynamic wave system that makes water movement and visibility affect gameplay. Two new watercraft, the RCB‑90 patrol boat and the 7.7 m NSW RHIB, join the existing arsenal along with three new weapons (Brod 3 carbine, EF88 bullpup assault rifle, VSSM designated‑marksman rifle) and a later sniper addition (Desert Tech HTI). Phase 2 (18 August) brings a Top Gun collaboration: the iconic F‑14 Tomcat and F‑18 Super Hornet arrive as the franchise’s first two‑seat jets, voiced by Miles Teller, Lewis Pullman and Charles Parnell as Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw, Lt. Robert “Bob” Floyd and Adm. Solomon “Warlock” Bates. The crossover adds two new modes – Carrier Strike, a combined land‑air‑sea battle to sink enemy carriers, and Fighter Sweep, an air‑only Gauntlet mission on a reworked Tsuru Reef – plus character skins and cosmetic items. The classic Wake Island map returns in Phase 3, completing the biggest seasonal content update in Battlefield history.
