Battlefield 6 Season 4 Launch Adds Tsuru Reef Map and Triggers NVIDIA RTX 50 Crashes

Season 4 of Battlefield 6 launched on July 21 2026 under the “Pacific Front” banner. The update introduces the series’ largest multiplayer map, Tsuru Reef, an archipelago south of Japan that adds extensive naval warfare, a dynamic wave system, new boats (RCB‑90 patrol, NSW‑RHIB) and weapons (BROD‑3, EF88, VSSM). The season also brings a new Battle Pass, additional weapons and gear, and a Twitch Drops campaign offering cosmetic items and XP boosts.

Electronic Arts announced a driver stability issue affecting PC players with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50‑series graphics cards. Crashes are reported primarily on water‑heavy maps such as Tsuru Reef. EA is working with NVIDIA on a fix and recommends temporarily rolling back to driver version 596.49 WHQL. A free 60‑minute hardware XP boost code (WELCOMES4) was also made available for players.

The update has revived player activity, with Steam reporting over 120 000 concurrent users shortly after launch, indicating strong community response to the new content and naval combat.
