Bavarian field‑sworn volunteers receive honors in Ebersberg and Neumarkt

On 13 April 2026 the district of Ebersberg honoured long‑serving field‑sworn volunteers Heinrich Amann (25 years) and Max Auer (60 years) alongside municipal officials. State Minister Albert Füracker presented bronze municipal merit medals and the Bavarian Minister‑President’s Honorary Badge was awarded to Brigitte Weitzer for her work with a self‑help group for relatives of people with mental illness. Environmental and climate pact certificates were given to the painting firm Münzhuber from Oberpframmern and to Canon Production Printing Germany in Poing for their sustainability initiatives.

In the Neumarkt town hall a separate ceremony swore in new field‑sworn volunteers. Mayor Markus Ochsenkühn and officials from the Office for Digitisation, Broadband and Surveying highlighted the historic role of these volunteers in marking and protecting municipal boundaries, assisting with cadastral work and mediating disputes, reinforcing their partnership with local authorities.
