Roadworks Across Germany and Neighboring Regions Disrupt Traffic

Gifhorn, Bergisch Gladbach, Kempten and other municipalities announce partial or full road closures for pavement renewal and utility replacement. In Austria, the Kufsteiner Straße near Kiefersfelden is closed for a comprehensive road upgrade, though the nearby A 93 remains usable. Swiss authorities schedule nightly closures on the A 9 between Sion‑Est and Sierre‑Est for traffic‑flow adjustments during ongoing highway rehab. These projects collectively result in detours, reduced lane capacity, and altered public‑transport schedules for commuters and local residents.
