Bay Area burglary spree: 4 juveniles arrested in 77 break-ins

Four juveniles have been arrested in connection with a widespread burglary spree across the San Francisco Bay Area. Authorities allege the group was responsible for approximately 77 break-ins targeting homes and vehicles across Contra Costa and Solano counties.

Investigators reported a pattern where the suspects used stolen vehicles to break into cars during early morning hours to steal garage-door openers. These openers were then used to enter residential garages to steal valuables, including power tools and firearms. In one instance, suspects were captured on surveillance footage pointing a gun at a door connected to a garage.

The arrests followed a coordinated sweep in July involving Concord SWAT, Richmond police, and the US Marshals Service. The investigation also identified a 37-year-old Oakland man, Wuillian Cordova-Cubias, who allegedly acted as a buyer for the stolen tools.
