Bayan Resources declares force majeure over coal production delays

PT Bayan Resources Tbk has declared force majeure to its customers due to delays in the approval of the 2026 Work Plan and Budget (RKAB) changes for its subsidiaries. The affected entities include PT Tiwa Abadi, PT Tanur Jaya, and PT Fajar Sakti Prima.

In a material information report to the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the company stated that these approvals are essential for the legal operation of coal production. The delay prevents the company and its subsidiaries from fulfilling coal supply obligations under existing Coal Supply Agreements. Bayan Resources noted that the situation is beyond its control and could materially impact the company's business continuity.
