Bayern Munich excludes Sacha Boey from 2024‑25 squad plans

Bayern Munich’s sporting director Christopher Freund confirmed that 24‑year‑old French right‑back Sacha Boey will not be part of the club’s squad for the 2024‑25 season. Boey, who joined Bayern from Galatasaray in the winter of 2024 for a reported €30 million, has made only 38 appearances for the German side, scoring once and providing five assists. After a loan spell back at Galatasaray in the second half of the season, he remains with the team for training but is expected to leave, with the club looking for a definitive transfer.

In the same announcement Freund also stated that midfielder João Palhinha is absent from next season’s plans, underscoring a broader reshuffle of the squad ahead of the new campaign.
