Bayern Munich to offload three players costing nearly €100 million

Sporting director Max Eberl announced that Bayern Munich has no future plans for three recent signings – centre‑back João Palhinha, full‑back Sacha Boey and forward Bryan Zaragoza – and will seek to move them on. The trio together cost the club roughly €100 million: Palhinha was acquired from Fulham for €51 million, Boey from Galatasaray for €30 million and Zaragoza from Granada for €13 million. Eberl said that if the players stay, they will have no role in the squad.

The club also mentioned Japanese defender Hiroki Ito among the players being evaluated for a possible departure, noting his limited appearances due to injuries. Bayern is expected to recoup part of the outlay through future transfers.
