Baykar tests Bayraktar TB2 as carrier for FPV kamikaze drones

Baykar has successfully completed a test flight demonstrating the Bayraktar TB2 unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) acting as a carrier platform for FPV kamikaze drones. During the test conducted at the Keşan Flight Training and Test Center in Edirne, the TB2 took off with 16 Skydagger FPV kamikaze drones.

Upon reaching the test site, two of the drones were released from the TB2. These drones were controlled by ground-based operators via a connection established through the TB2 platform, resulting in precise strikes on designated targets.

Baykar reported that the company continues to enhance the TB2 platform with new capabilities to meet evolving battlefield conditions. The company also noted its significant export performance, reaching a record export volume of 2.2 billion dollars in 2025.
